Book Review: The Reluctant Farmer of Whimsey Hill

Saved By The Book Club is growing and has almost reached its year mark! I can't believe it! This undertaking has been such a fun way to connect with other animal lovers and hear from the authors themselves. If you'd like to join in the fun, click HERE.

We just finished our August book called The Reluctant Farmer of Whimsey Hill and it was a hoot! I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone who has ever thought to themselves, "I wonder what it would be like to have a farm?"

This refreshingly sweet story introduces us to Brad and Nancy, a couple fated to be together after meeting one lucky night. The two had a lot in common except for one BIG thing....Nancy LOVED rescuing animals. For her, it was "the more the merrier!"

Brad, on the other hand, was fond of animals, but not interested in having a zoo of his own.

However, as in the case of my own parents, the wife wins the battle and the two set out to buy a farm (and of course all the animals that come with it!)

There's Amy the dog, a cow named Pork-Chop, a mare named Junior and many, many more!

This book will warm your heart, make you laugh out loud and remind you that love and kindness are the greatest traits you can have!

It's a short and easy read and can be purchased by clicking HERE.

Warning: as in most rescue books, there are a few story lines that may bring a few tears.
